Aga Szypicyn is a design strategist, career mentor, speaker and keen road cyclist with 10 years of design experience and team leadership in the creative and research industries.
Aga has worked on branding, user research and product strategies for the world’s biggest brands including Spotify, Google, Intel, and Facebook. She specialises in client and consumer workshops (both face-to-face and remote), designing and facilitating design sprints and stakeholder sessions, and deploying design thinking methodology to drive product and service development.
During her time at Stripe Partners, she’s established her design management and leadership skills by building a strong team of design strategists from scratch and expanding company’s design capabilities and offering, which she considers to be the proudest achievement of her career to date.
Prior to that she worked alongside established creative agencies focusing on delivering customer experience solutions for companies and institutions including adidas, Oakley, Virgin Money and The British Museum. She’s a co-author of the award-winning Yamamay concept store design in Milan.
Aga’s a big advocate of sharing knowledge and the idea of giving back. Since her university years she’s been very fortunate to have received an outstanding amount of support through mentorship and career coaching by world’s leading designers and researchers. Whenever she can, she aims to provide similar support to students and young professionals to help them foster their talents, share career advice and occasionally invent the jobs of the future through one-to-one mentorship programme, university lectures and industry talks.
