I’m a print junkie!

I love magazines, especially those beautifully designed and about design. I do subscribe to some titles as you can see above. I think my favourite might be Eye magazine, quarterly international review of graphic design and visual culture: http://eyemagazine.com.

I also enjoy reading Creative Review although I buy it only from time to time. The purchase depends on the content (which I don’t always find interesting). CR is a monthly mag showcasing the best of commercial arts and design scene: http://www.creativereview.co.uk

And Computer Arts. Again as CR, it’s an occasional purchase. I have to admit I’m a print junkie. The cover of the issue you see above was designed by a paper engineer and combines emboss, textured deboss, rough-textured varnish and high-build varnish. It’s just exquisite! http://www.creativebloq.com/computer-arts-magazine (digital version available)

Then there are a couple of Polish titles. 2+3D is a quarterly review of Polish design. “The first part of the magazine deals with graphics (2D). The second part is reserved for 3D products from both industrial design and limited series projects. The third subject group covers interdisciplinary issues (+)” (just in Polish though).http://www.2plus3d.pl

And last but not least – Label Magazine. It’s my new discovery that “presents unique, sophisticated items, because we all want to live a more beautiful, interesting and better life.” Great news! The mag is bilingual! Label has got readers in Berlin, London, Paris and even New York (iPad edition available) https://label-magazine.com. From time to time Label also offers an extra issue dedicated to particular themes e.g: Scandinavian design or modern country.

Keep reading, stay tuned!
