The Newspaper Club

The industry conference season has kicked off with a bang earlier this month, and to prepare for that my design team spent almost a month designing, iterating, ordering samples, printing, tweaking…and so on. One of the new formats we looked into were newspapers—printed using traditional technique (obviously…)—supplied by the Newspaper Club. Last time I designed for newsprint was back in 2012 during the second year of my undergrad, so I felt a bit rusty. Fortunately the Club provides a set of easy to follow instructions online, including necessary ink adjustments for this fast-paced printing business.
